                             I walk along, through the meandering lanes of life

                Aiming for the stars but often hitting the treetops!

                          Stumbling at times but getting up to walk on;

                           I make some friends with others on this journey

                                  Some leave me behind and some I do!

              I flirt with the Sunshine and allow the breeze to kiss me

                           Pulling over every now and again

                    To share a laugh, a thought, some company,

                       A few strangers, some friends and family;

               With a thought on my mind and a song on my lips…

                          

                          Creating memories to cherish with every turn,

                    Joining the dots and putting pieces together

                             Some solitude, contentment, joy and tears,

                With a thought on my mind and a song on my lips…

                   

                           I know there’ll be love and there’ll be rain,

                   Hot summers, too, and also some pain

                            Through this I shall walk again and again

             With a thought on my mind and a song on my lips...
