The Cat Nap

I seem to be relying on these a lot more lately, given that I am suffering a sleep deficiency. The joys of  a Cat Nap are inexplicable, though - a few minutes stolen for the self, away from the environmental and social din, with the express intention of rejuvenating the  mind and body. And, no matter what the scientific theory and research of dreams might say, I have memories of some of my best dreams having been a result of Cat Naps!
So, today, as I sat in my car waiting for a friend to join me to a meeting, I had my music on, the window lowered just enough to let in some breeze and yet not compromising on my safety and the warm Sunshine lull me to sleep. I had the most wonderful dream - a walk in paradise; much like my own 'Alice in Wonderland' moment...the World clean and safe, every citizen of the World had a job and food to eat; every child enjoyed the day at school and every mother felt a lot safer about her child; there was music, and happiness and health...Until the knock on the window snapped me out of my paradise.
