So, it’s one of those Sundays when I keep my feet up
and gaze at the world around. Sigh, this inertia!
And I wonder: if the butterfly actually loves dancing
around the flowers or does so simply out of a need or... does it make a dance out
of a need (!); why do we say ‘fall from grace’ when falling can be with grace –
ever seen a leaf fall to the ground (?); what if a bird were tired midway
between flapping it’s wings or what might be the probability of a crow pooping
on my head! When thoughts are random, about this, that and everything in-between,
I guess I am most entertained. Come to think of it, thinking in circles or a
straight line can be boring; thinking on a tangent keeps you connected to a
circle with a straight line hitting you at 90 degrees – definitely more
interesting, no? It’s also one of those times when I read a paragraph in a
book repeatedly or allow the music to play on without hitting the pause or
replay button or hit mindlessly at the keys on a laptop in an effort to sound
coherent.
A lazy Sunday being the prelude to a Monday…
