A Drop

When thirst is quenched with a drop of water

Sadness disappears with a drop of laughter

Winter warms up with a drop of sunshine

And a drop of hope makes everything seem fine!

Fear is destroyed by a drop of courage

And the unemployed need a drop of wage.

A child just desires a drop of motherly care,

As a patient does a drop of some fresh air.

A World that asks for a drop of peace

While all homeless seek is a drop of lease.

A Universe that is seen in the drop of a tear

All answers are found with a drop of a prayer!

Hate is overcome by a drop of altruism,

It takes a drop of diplomacy to prevent a schism.

A drop of respect to help a woman feel secure

Hard work, just a drop, to make a future sure!

A drop of blood could save a life

Responsibility, a mere drop, could prevent strife.

A farmer sees hope in a drop of rain

Saving even a drop can result in a gain!
