To run and cover the distance to a friend,

To hold that hand, lost at the crossroads,

To lend that shoulder and a patient ear,

To hear stories of valour, love and sacrifice.

To swallow that pride and offer an apology

To hug a loved one and share some warmth.

To teach a child discover some wonders,

To help a grandmother relive her childhood!

To be compassionate towards the vulnerable,
